3.  Fields of Study: Specializations in:

    • Renewable energy
    • IT, AI, and ICT
    • Financial technology (FinTech)
    • Engineering
    • Mining
    • Agricultural technology (AgriTech)

4.  English Proficiency: Minimum IELTS overall score of 6.0 (with no band below 5.0) or equivalent.

5.  Financial Proof: Evidence of AUD 5,000 or an employment offer in Australia.

6.  Genuine Intent: Demonstrate intent to stay temporarily.

7.  Health & Character: Must meet Australia’s health and character requirements.


Application Process:

1.  Ballot Registration:

    • Apply via the MATES portal (AUD 25 fee).
    • Applications are accepted during the December 2024 registration period.
    • Selection is random, based on a lottery system.

2.  Visa Application:

    • If selected, submit your subclass 403 visa application within 30 days of receiving the Notification of Selection (NOS) letter.
    • Visa application fee: AUD 365.

3.  Required Documents:

    • Passport
    • Academic transcripts and degree certificate
    • Proof of English proficiency
    • Financial statements
    • Police clearance and health assessment.
